StarCaft II Terran Command Center

The beginnings of this project started in 2010 as a crude photoshop document. The project was intended to be a custom built desktop PC for the workspace. PC components of the time were selected and scaled into the photoshop document, and the overall scale and orientation of this project solidified as a hefty 24" x 24" or so structure. This isn't a case mod, but a completely scratch built and engineered enclosure for a PC with a full sized motherboard, wireless card, etc. which was a common configuration at the time.

The project was tediously scratch built over the course of 3 months in early 2012. Only the "toes", corner modules, and "knees" are cast. An LED temperature sensor displays the case temperature from one of the windows while the PC is running, and features a 120mm intake fan right in the front door, a 90mm intake fan on the bottom, elevated about 2 inches off of the ground, and three exhaust fans on the back embedded into the thrusters. Two carefully embedded USB ports sit right above the front door, as well as a headphone jack and mic. input. The USB, HDMI, power, and other connections sit on the bottom of the command center, angled out about 60 degrees as not to damage any connections. It worked very well until 2017, at which the internals were gutted and the case awaits a component overhaul currently.
